Corporate Security Officer (Unarmed)

Job Details Position: Corporate Security Officer (Unarmed) Company: Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG) Location: Foster City, CA Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $30.00 per hour Work Schedule Monday–Friday. 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Day Shift). Position Overview As an Unarmed Corporate Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure corporate environment by monitoring premises, enforcing policies, controlling access, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Control access points and verify identification of employees, contractors, and visitors. Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident reports. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence. Enforce company policies, procedures, and site-specific regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of security experience preferred; corporate security experience strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in high-pressure situations. Proficiency with smartphones, incident reporting applications, and email communication. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to consistently work 8-hour shifts and overtime when required. Requirements Valid California BSIS Guard Card. Ability to pass a background investigation, including California Live Scan. Reliable transportation. Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Ability to regularly climb stairs. Professional Standards Maintain an impeccable uniform and professional appearance in accordance with VCPG standards. Demonstrate clear, concise written communication and zero-defect reporting.
