What You'll Do
- Screen, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and use of assistive devices
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and evaluate outcomes for effectiveness
- Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care and proper documentation
- Support supervision of occupational therapist assistants, aides, or students as needed
What You Need
- Current Occupational Therapy license in Oklahoma
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a long-term care setting
- Strong clinical skills in cognitive and physical rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adhere to NBCOT standards and state practice acts
