Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Canton, Georgia. The position starts on 07/27/2026, is 36 hours per week, and requires 12‑hour night shifts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Required Qualifications Completion of a Radiology program with specialization in MRI Minimum one year of experience as an MRI Technologist Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT or equivalent certification Current ARMRIT or equivalent certification Other relevant certifications or licenses Summary The MRI Technologist operates MRI scanners to produce high‑quality 3D diagnostic images, administers IV contrast, collaborates with healthcare teams, and maintains equipment and safety protocols. Essential Work Functions Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications; Educate patients and answer questions; Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment; Administer IV contrast per orders and monitor reactions; Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters; Document all procedure details in compliance with hospital policies; Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for accurate imaging and timely results; Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with infection control and hospital policies; Follow hospital safety rules, including infection control and radiation safety protocols; Perform other duties within scope of an MRI Technologist.
