Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established emergency medicine team with a variety of shift options and weekend coverage.

Position Highlights

Varied 9-hour shifts based on facility needs:
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend coverage required
No on-call requirements

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a broad range of acute and emergent conditions.
Perform appropriate emergency procedures and interventions within scope of practice.
Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients.
Order and interpret diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and imaging.
Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
Provide appropriate disposition, including admission, discharge, or transfer.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

Requirements

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
Active Washington medical license
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
Current DEA registration
