Beloved Ones - Facility Manager

Beloved Ones is seeking a Facility Manager for our residential treatment center in California City, CA. This is a full‑time position. Beloved Ones – Facility Manager Eligibility: Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. A minimum of two years’ experience managing a residential treatment center for children in the child welfare system is required. Experience with children diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, or behavioral and emotional disorders, is preferred. Responsibilities & Duties Support BOSTRTP’s mission, vision, and goals. Ensure compliance with Title 22, the latest Interim Licensing Standards, CDSS, and Community Care Licensing. Adhere to all federal and state laws, Beloved Ones policies, HIPAA, and safeguarding of confidential healthcare information. Report suspected child abuse or neglect immediately in accordance with mandated reporting guidelines. Document all incidents and provide updates to mental health staff, CFTs, and the Administrator. Attend scheduled meetings and apply the Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standard. Supervise direct care staff, ensuring appropriate care and supervision for children as per law and licensing regulations. Oversee planned activities for youth and NMDs as specified in the ILS. Assist each child in group work and address individual problems. Administer discipline and set behavioral limits consistent with trauma‑informed care standards. Maintain records of youth progress and identify the need for additional professional services. Support provision of core services, daily activities, emotional and social support, and daily log documentation. Prepare and supervise meals, snacks, and training on nutrition schedules. Supervise and facilitate recreational and leisure time, including games, play, and projects. Maintain cleanliness of the facility, coordinate laundry, and supervise weekly house cleaning. Train residents on personal hygiene, grooming, and safety procedures. Ensure residents are ready for the school bus on time and conduct regular bed checks when on duty at night. Administer medications on proper forms and record usage accurately. Participate in 40 hours of in‑service training annually, including management of aggressive behavior and psychotropic medications. Submit work order requests for skilled labor needs (e.g., major electrical or plumbing issues). Work with the Administrator to recommend solutions for identified problems. Perform any other duties necessary to ensure the health and safety of youth and NMDs. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency in meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene, and resident activities. Strong communication, accountability, and positive leadership qualities. Decisive, clear‑headed, and efficient in individual and team settings. Openness to feedback and continuous learning and improvement. Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet usage, and related software. Effective oral and written communication with organizational skill. Additional Requirements Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Current auto insurance (required if transporting clients). Official state driving record. Three employment references. Cleared criminal background check and signed statement on felony indictments/convictions. TB test results within 12 months of employment. Working cellular telephone (for emergency communication). Physical Demands Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, frequent sitting, standing, and walking. May involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and traversing uneven terrain. Frequent lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds. Schedule Monday through Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
