Care Coordinator (Medical Receptionist/PSR)

Front Desk Medical Receptionist | Part-Time | Gilbert, Arizona 85298 Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Medical Receptionist (Front Office Assistant) to support our South Gilbert clinic. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment! Pay Rate: $17-$17.50/Hour Part Time (20-25 Hours/Week) Responsibilities Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required.
