As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badging in Walton, KY , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, badging protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and document access activity for the location in accordance with assigned post orders.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including shipping, receiving, and warehouse-related areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic flow at gates and/or loading areas, and report suspicious activity, damaged equipment, and other security-related concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
