This role includes general ledger management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in corporate accounting.***Responsibilities:*** Key participant in monthly, quarterly and annual financial close* Assists with financial statement preparation, reporting, and analysis* Assist with international subsidiary audits, country specific statutory audits and tax filings. Also provides support for US audit and tax filings.* Responsible for related account reconciliations and journal entries* Maintains records and assists with compliance of transfer pricing requirements.* Assist in the preparation of financial statements for all international subsidiaries.* Assist international audits (financial, statutory, etc.) and tax filings.* Additional projects and analysis as requested**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting* 3-5 years’ experience general ledger accounting or public accounting* Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills* International accounting experience a plus* Cost accounting experience a plus* Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and assignments* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines**Accountabilities:*** Accurate and timely completion of financial close requirements* Regular and predictable attendance required**Relationships:*** Will report directly to the Controller* Works closely with all cross functional groups#LI-TS1**BENEFITS:**Working for PetSafe Brands definitely has its benefits.
