Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
• Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Full Illinois license
• Ability to perform video swallow studies, bedside swallow evaluations, and dysphagia management
• Inpatient experience

Assignment Details

• 8-hour shifts.
• No weekend requirement.
• No call requirement.

Location Highlights

Mattoon offers convenient access to outdoor recreation and regional travel routes in east-central Illinois. Lake Mattoon and Lake Paradise are both within about 15 minutes of downtown and provide boating, fishing, and shoreline parks for a quieter lifestyle fit. Fox Ridge State Park is roughly 20 miles away and offers hiking trails through wooded bluffs, while Interstate 57 connects Mattoon to Champaign in about 1 hour and Effingham in about 30 minutes. The city also features Amtrak service at Mattoon station and is near the Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site, which sits about 10 miles south and adds a cultural landmark to the area.
