Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3x12-Hour Shifts (07:00 - 19:00), on-call requirement for nights, weekends, and holidays included. Job Description The Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse will provide care to patients immediately following surgery, monitoring their vital signs, managing airways, and addressing pain levels in a highly skilled 8-bay unit. The role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration to ensure patient safety and satisfaction during their stay. Responsibilities Monitor patient vital signs and airway management post-surgery. Provide post-surgical care before transportation to continued observation areas. Work collaboratively in a team-based environment focused on patient satisfaction. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure One year of experience in Main Hospital PACU required. Pediatric experience in the OR is mandatory. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Active RN license required.
