Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehabilitation

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic inpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will possess Med-Surg or inpatient rehab experience, demonstrating a passion for helping patients achieve their highest level of recovery.

Position Information

Department: Rehabilitation
Role: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation
Shift: 12-hour shifts available, including nights
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday rotations
Call Requirements: Yes
Required Certifications: BLS
Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year nursing experience in a skilled nursing or similar 24/7 care environment; Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
Float Requirements: Currently not required; may be needed for a nearby facility in the future

Unit Profile

Number of Beds: 49
Patient Ratios: 1:7
Equipment: Mobility equipment, vital machines, EKG machine, computers for charting
EHR: EPIC
Patient Population: Adults requiring high-acuity inpatient rehabilitation services

Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery outcomes. Duties include:

Assessing and addressing patients' physical and emotional needs
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborating with rehabilitation specialists and other healthcare professionals
Supporting nursing assistants and responding to patient call lights
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

Additional Information

Attendance Policy: Adherence to attendance and punctuality policies is mandatory
Scheduling & Time Keeping: Mandatory 30-minute breaks; staff must clock out for breaks and may not stay past their scheduled shift end time without approval
