Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Description: As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN), you'll provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. You'll be required to float between two ER locations and may need to take call at the Center of Hope. This role requires a proactive approach to patient assessment and care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and triage to determine urgency of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient's health status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Manage acute situations and provide emergency interventions.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required.
• SANE certification required at the time of submission.
• Current ACLS, BCLS, CPI, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Preferred certifications include NIH, TNCC, and ENPC.
• A valid state license must be obtained before starting the assignment.
