Cargo Specialist, 88H - Start Your Career with the US Army

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Cargo Specialist. As a Cargo Specialist, you�ll ensure the Army receives supplies, weapons, and equipment daily all over the world. You will be trained in cargo documentation, the securing of cargo, and learn how to load and unload cargo manually or by operating material handling equipment like cranes and forklifts. Cargo Specialists are disciplined, technical experts that transship cargo between all modes of transportation and execute port operations upload/download, staging, and marshalling tasks to support the Army�s global operations.
Cargo Specialists are the Army's experts for everything the Army moves by land, sea, or air.
Requirements:
Attend a 18-week paid training program to gain skills and certifications in cargo documentation, securing cargo, manual and automatic cargo handling, equipment training on Kalmar RT240 Rough Terrain Cargo Handler (RTCH), the All-Terrain Lifter Army System (ATLAS 10K), the 40-ton Mobile Crane, and the ship/shore mounted Hagglund Crane.
Your job experience may qualify for a reduced training timeline and promotion.
Advanced certifications require additional full funded training programs.
