The position is responsible for supporting the successful execution of projects and contributing to the overall success of our engineering department and plays a critical role in the development and refinement of manufacturing processes, material flow, and standard operating procedures.**Core Duties and Responsibilities*** Work to understand Plug Power products and related manufacturing objectives and constraints.* Assist with the evaluation of manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from technicians.* Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.* Supports the improvement of manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.* Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.* Assists with the engineering change process and all relevant communication/documentation* Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.* Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.* Build relationships and engage in regular communications with cross-functional colleagues.* Always represent Plug Power in a professional manner all interactions* Perform all other duties as assigned**Education and Experience*** BS in Engineering or a STEM related discipline* Up to 3 years’ experience in Engineering* Proficient with Microsoft Office software* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Uncompromising dedication to quality* Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail* Ability to manage one or two projects concurrently.* Ability to read and interpret engineering diagramsPay Rate:$66,000.00 - $99,000.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below: ✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
