Warehouse Delivery Driver Associate

It's an important hands-on role where you'll be key to giving Locke Supply's internal and external customers an outstanding experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations, including material handling which includes stocking product, picking product, understanding of the importance of the role, extreme attention to detail and a sense of urgency in getting the job complete! In this role, you will be driving powered equipment (Forklift, Cherry Picker, Turret truck) and handling various other warehouse tasks.

Requirements for a Warehouse Associate

• Warehouse experience, minimum 1-year combined experience.
• Delivery driving experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to do basic math (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication).
• Comfortable with operating powered equipment (including forklifts, cherry pickers, etc.).
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Critical thinking.
• Desire to develop.
• Team oriented.
• Ability to cross train in different tasks and flexible to learn new departments.
• Able to take direction.
• Understanding of the importance of their role and the value it brings to the company.
• Ability to use and work on a computer and wrist mount systems.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer, physical job duty test through WorkSTEPS.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.

Working conditions for an Associate include a combination of a climate-controlled distribution center and outdoors.
