Job Description Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Bethpage, NY 11714 . This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on performance) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Specific Duties: * Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and assisting with medical tests. * Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. * Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records, including recording patient information, test results, and treatment plans. * Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, billing managing patient data. * Sterilize medical instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care within a multidisciplinary team. * Maintain inventory of medical supplies and restock as necessary. * Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
