General Job Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic neurosurgical procedures to the brain, spine and peripheral nerve surgeries, among others. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide preoperative and postoperative care. Residency training program in neurosurgery accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). License & Certifications: Board certification in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) or an equivalent certifying body. Active and unrestricted medical license in Alaska.
