Speech Language Pathologist / SLP - Full Time

Job Details:

Primarily outpatient role, with occasional inpatient coverage as necessary.
Specializing in pediatric patients, with occasional adult cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations upon patient referral, integrating data from various assessment techniques to develop customized treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
Administer safe and effective speech therapy treatments that encompass physical, mental, social, and emotional components, fostering improved quality of life and independence.
Demonstrate precise application of therapeutic principles and practices, using clinical judgment to observe patient responses to treatments.
Ensure timely completion of documentation to optimize reimbursement for speech therapy services.

Qualifications:

State of Louisiana licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is mandatory.
BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related healthcare setting.
