Adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross-trained in multiple areas of the store to support business needs. \n Customer Experience \n \n Role models REACH principles with customers \n Supports a positive store culture and embodies all aspects of a Green Culture Pulse \n Promotes TJX Rewards credit and loyalty programs \n Supports and responds to Front End coverage as well as Dressing Room and Jewelry needs \n \n \n Human Resources \n \n \n Upholds a culture of honesty, integrity, and respect \n Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates \n Accepts recognition and constructive feedback \n Adheres to labor laws and Associate meal and break period policies \n \n Store Operations \n \n Maintains organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for sales floor and participates in maintenance/cleanliness of entire store, e.g. Single Queue, Associate Lounge \n Maintains floor care cleanliness standards including maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer \n Processes and preps merchandise for sales floor following Door to Floor and Working Smart principles \n Adheres to Front End policy and procedures including ringing sequence and operational controls (RIL, Voids, Refunds, etc.) \n Balances register draws and or cash office as required \n Ensures ‘go backs’ are properly tagged/hung and promptly returned to the sales floor \n \n Merchandising \n \n Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy \n Adheres and upholds merchandise and signage standards \n Partners with Merchandise Coordinator to create and maintain compelling features, flexing the sales floor as needed \n Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded \n Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed \n \n Loss Prevention & Safety \n \n Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs \n Adheres to operational and loss prevention controls according to company guidelines and policies \n Identifies and communicates alert signals and potential safety issues immediately to management/loss prevention to ensure a safe environment \n Does not engage in pursuit or apprehension of shoplifters \n Other duties as assigned \n \n \n Benefits include: Associate discount; EAP; smoking cessation; bereavement; 401(k) Associate contributions; child care & cell phone discounts; pet & legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses.
