Quality Inspector/Aerospace

A growing aerospace and defense manufacturing environment in Sylmar, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector/Aerospace for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented quality professional who enjoys hands‑on inspection work, precision measurement, blueprint reading, and helping ensure products meet strict aerospace quality and regulatory standards. The Quality Inspector will report to the Quality Manager and play a key role in receiving inspection, first article inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, documentation, and quality compliance. Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections for receiving, first article inspections per AS9102, in-process inspections, and final inspections. Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection equipment to verify product conformance. Review blueprints, technical drawings, engineering specifications, and quality documentation to confirm compliance with requirements. Create and maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, non‑conformance documentation, deviations, and corrective action details. Identify defects or non-conforming materials and work with quality, engineering, production and warehouse teams to support resolution. Support continuous improvement, safety procedures, inventory management, receiving, stocking, and quality training as needed. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity. Pay range: $32 to $35 per hour.
