When our people thrive, we ALL WIN.Position ExplanationTo service Granite Group customers with courteous, accurate and timely deliveries. To strive to maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse, ensuring that stock is put away in its proper location. Responsibilities include any one or a combination of duties in making deliveries to customers and other branches, as well as unloading, storing, marking, picking, packing, or loading products as may be directed.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDrive company trucks and comply with all existing company, local, state and Federal regulations.Follow and complete the daily delivery schedule, completing multiple daily deliveries in a prompt and professional manner.Report product damage or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor or management staff.Assist in loading and unloading trucks.Maintain a neat and orderly appearance in compliance with company dress code.Observe all safety regulations and report any violations or accidents in a timely manner to the Warehouse Supervisor and the Branch Manager.Complete required state and federal daily records.Required and Preferred QualificationsForklift certification required.You will need to get a DOT Med card which we will schedule and pay forSoft Skills and Cultural FitAbility to read a map and understand driving directions.Ability to drive a large truck.Friendly, pleasant, courteous and professional demeanor.Ability to lift 100 pounds and use material handling equipment to push, pull, maneuver heavier loads.Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time.Ability to comply with the current Substance and Alcohol Abuse testing programs.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience driving a truck.Truck Driver/Delivery
