First thing first: it's pronounced Tche, like splash.
Founded in 2020, after years of taste tests and waitlists, Tche is the first and only pure pistachio milk on the market. Made without fillers or oils, and with a 75% smaller water footprint than almonds, Tche is for discerning individuals looking to transform have-to compromises into must-have essentials.
Since its debut, Tche has taken coffee shops, dairy aisles, and social media by storm. Initially prioritizing DTC channels to reach consumers as quickly and seamlessly as possible, the brand amplified that strategy by targeting third-wave independent coffee shops, before most recently hitting their first full year of retail distribution in summer 2024. Boasting an astounding 3500% growth thanks to a big debut at Target stores nationwide, Tche is now "that viral pistachio milk" with millions of views on TikTok daily thanks to more consumers wanting a healthier, more sustainable plant-based milk.

What We're Looking For
The Coffee Channel Field Sales roles are an integral extension of the sales and marketing teams. The Coffee Channel Field Sales role is to engage with current and potential customers to drive sales and bring our brand and story to life through in-shop selling, field marketing events, and interfacing with cafes and distributors regularly. The right individuals will have excellent existing cafe relationships and will fuel our growth by gaining new placements of Tche and increasing velocities at current cafes. Field Sales are a key point of contact with our cafe customers, and therefore performs a critical role for Tche. This will be a fast-paced, fun, and interactive role that requires a deep understanding of the Tche brand/product, coffee, and bar-raising interpersonal skills. This is a contract position currently being offered in: Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and Miami.
What You'll Do
- Drive growth through two primary levers - generating new sales and managing current accounts within the coffee channel
- By effectively communicating Tche's unique selling points, successfully open new accounts by sourcing leads, identifying decision makers, scheduling sales meetings and tracking your progress through sales stages
- Increase Tche's brand presence and sales velocities at assigned coffee accounts by planning seasonal beverages, product displays, and menu placements. Offer continued education for these accounts through training tools to ensure they're educated on the benefits of Tche and how to effectively communicate them to customers
- In collaboration with marketing, help ideate staff incentives, in-store activations, and other marketing led activities to increase brand awareness and trial
- Effectively manage distributors to help you sell and support accounts. Work with distributor sales teams on ride alongs and sample distribution to help maximize Tche's exposure to sales leads

- You have a proven record of sales success in the coffee channel with deep relationships within the community and especially with key decision makers within regional coffee chains and influential accounts
- You feel connected to the mission of demanding less from the environment and more for your health and can articulate that mission clearly
- You are the salesperson who does not feel/sound like a "salesperson". You're that person people connect with. When people meet you, they want to continue to be around you
- You are a self-starter who takes initiative naturally and has a scrappy, entrepreneurial bend
- You pay close attention to detail and have the ability to manage many moving pieces in a fast-paced environment
- You have uniquely well-crafted selling, negotiation, and organizational skills
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in coffee channel sales, working with distributors, coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants
- You have established relationships with decision-makers within coffee and a current book of business and relationships in coffee channel
- Energized to partner with marketing to ideate creative integrated marketing plans with key accounts (ie: seasonal beverages, promos, sampling, events, etc)
- Skilled at growing business with current accounts by identifying the needs of the account and position Tche as the solution
- You have experience selling a brand as an ingredient that integrates with other items like coffee, tea, matcha, etc and understand the nuances that come with marrying ingredients
