CNC Machine Operator

$20-$22.50/hr

4:00pm -1am

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating CNC machinery, making necessary adjustments to meet part specifications, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Job Duties:

• Operate CNC machines in a production environment
• Inspect machines and equipment before use to ensure they are operating safely and properly
• Make machine offsets and adjustments as needed to meet part specifications
• Read and understand blueprints
• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet required specifications
• Collect and record production and quality data
• Identify and communicate equipment or production issues to the supervisor
• Perform basic troubleshooting and suggest process improvements when appropriate
• Clean equipment and maintain an organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Previous CNC machining experience preferred
• Experience using precision measuring tools and gauges
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable performing basic shop math, including fractions and decimals
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform bending, reaching, kneeling, and other physical activities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified by the employer

Ideal Candidate:
Someone with hands-on CNC experience who is comfortable making machine adjustments, reading blueprints, measuring finished parts, and working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
