Job Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Test Engineer to lead daily operations within an electrical testing laboratory while supporting product development, quality initiatives, and testing operations. This role combines technical expertise, data analysis, troubleshooting, and team leadership to ensure products meet performance, quality, and customer requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with electrical testing experience who is ready to take on a larger role overseeing laboratory activities, mentoring team members, and improving testing processes.

Electrical Test Engineer Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily testing operations within the electrical laboratory
• Lead, mentor, and support laboratory personnel
• Develop, improve, and validate testing procedures, specifications, and equipment
• Perform electrical testing and verify compliance with engineering and customer requirements
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports and recommendations
• Support and maintain automated testing and data acquisition systems
• Troubleshoot product, equipment, and testing issues
• Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, Sales, and Operations teams
• Train personnel on testing methods, equipment operation, and quality standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product testing and laboratory efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of electrical testing, engineering, or laboratory experience
• Experience working with electrical test equipment, including:
  • Oscilloscopes
  • LCR Meters
  • Impedance Analyzers
  • Calipers and Micrometers
• Experience with LabVIEW and/or automated data acquisition systems strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data and communicate findings effectively
• Experience supporting manufacturing, product development, or quality initiatives is a plus
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods such as SPC, DOE, and capability studies is beneficial
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
