Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to serve as a working Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital. This role offers hands-on experience in a hospital setting, leading pharmacy operations while actively participating in daily dispensing and clinical activities.
Location:
- Roseville, CA
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shifts
- Shared on-call responsibilities with PRN pharmacists after hours
Contract Details:
- Immediate start
- 13-week assignment with potential to transition to a permanent role
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing all pharmacy operations in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to meet patient needs in a rehab hospital environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotation after hours to provide pharmacy support as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Pharmacist license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience, preferably within inpatient care
- Strong leadership qualities and a willingness to take on the PIC role
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, positive attitude
