Program Manager

Responsibilities Program Management: Lead overall program strategy, planning, and execution for FFP and/or cost plus contracts Client Relationship Management: Serve as primary customer and end user point of contact, maintaining strong business relationships Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with project teams and key stakeholders. Financial Management: Coordinate internal planning and execution of funds and coordinate with Government customers throughout the Government Fiscal Year. Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources across multiple projects to optimize productivity and deliver results within defined constraints. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with the program and individual projects, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize their impact. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines, providing regular reports to stakeholders and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with contract requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines to deliver high‑quality deliverables. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of project managers, engineers, analysts, and other professionals – HII and subcontractor teams – fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, track project milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, including reporting requirements, deliverables, and any applicable regulations or legal obligations. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identify areas for enhancement, and implement best practices to streamline operations and increase efficiency. Requirements 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelor in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Master in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience. Proven program management experience in defense or government contracting Strong knowledge of defense industry standards, regulations, and contract requirements Experience managing multi‑year contracts with $20M+ annual revenue Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and time‑management skills Financial management expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and risk‑management capabilities Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities Active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (or ability to obtain/maintain) Ability to work onsite near the customer location in Colorado Springs, CO Certifications & Qualifications Top‑Secret clearance SCI eligibility #J-18808-Ljbffr
