Location: Anywhere in Country Technology – Engineering & Systems Integration – Application Systems Engineering – Manager The opportunity EY's Oracle Services practice assists national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering, and managing large, complex full‑life‑cycle application implementations. The Application Systems Engineering Manager will lead the design, architecture, delivery, and leadership of innovative solutions using Oracle SaaS and PaaS applications, ensuring clients can architect and implement core applications and technology required to run their business. Your key responsibilities Ensuring billability through chargeable work to external clients. Leading workstream delivery with strategic oversight. Managing project status and overseeing deliverable completion. Traveling as required by client engagements. Actively participating in client sessions and leading workstreams from planning to execution. Identifying additional service opportunities to drive sales. Leading specific RFP responses and managing engagement economics. Executing resource planning within budget constraints. Skills and attributes for success Team collaboration with client technology professionals and third‑party strategic alliances to implement technology solutions. Demonstrated quality project execution, monitoring team economics, performance, and adjusting scope and resources as needed. Architect technology solutions focusing on data flow, migration, and integration for supply chain processes across multi‑vendor software. Develop people by encouraging independence, delegating work, conducting performance reviews, and leading by example. Generate new business opportunities by understanding EY and its service lines and presenting solutions. Develop long‑term internal and external relationships and networks. Manage and supervise a technology team through all phases of the technology lifecycle. Interact and communicate effectively with senior and middle‑management executives. Apply Agile development methodologies. Implement application integration and quality assurance. Proficiency in software development and technology business requirement analysis. Strong relationship management and negotiation skills. Digital fluency and emotional agility. To qualify for the role, you must have A 4‑year bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience. 4–6 years of experience working with SCM / ERP application implementations, including 2 years in a managerial or IT/business integration role. 2–3 full‑cycle implementations of Oracle SCM Cloud and 3–4 Oracle EBS implementations focusing on Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Product Information Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules. 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with FBDI, OTBI, REST, and SOAP. Proven track record with integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar platforms. Experience using Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging technologies, including SOA governance. Willingness and ability to travel 60–80% of the work schedule. Ideally, you’ll also have Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or MS preferred). Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities. Base salary ranges from $142,600 to $261,500 in the U.S., adjusted for location, and include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off options. Hybrid work model: most client‑serving roles work together in person 40–60% of the time.
