Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to assist with our accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and other duties as assigned on a part-time or full time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced with QuickBooks, organized, and comfortable working independently in a small business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Enter financial data in QuickBooks
• Assist with month-end closing of books
• Communicate with vendors and internal team members regarding invoices and payments
• Assist with collection of invoices from customers
• Assist customers with procedures to pick up, pay and deadlines of orders
• Accurately calculate time cards for employees
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of accounts payable/receivables or bookkeeping experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Solid communication skills
• Strong customer service
• Ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses
• Familiarity with inventory or food service equipment-based businesses
• Understanding of accounting principles

Schedule:

• Flexible part-time schedule (20 hours per week up to fulltime 36 hours)
