Onin Staffing seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Shippers to join our warehouse team. The Warehouse Shipper is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, loading, and shipping bakery products while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. This role is essential to ensuring products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Skills and Experience
- Pick, verify, and stage customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before shipment.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (training provided if applicable).
- Stack and wrap pallets according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using scanners or warehouse systems.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping.
- Work in varying warehouse temperatures.
