Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac functions, managing emergency responses, and utilizing advanced medical equipment. Proficiency in EPIC charting is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients with cardiac conditions and manage dysrhythmias.
• Provide oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management.
• Administer IV therapies and manage peripheral lines effectively.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams during emergencies.
• Implement isolation precautions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York State RN License (NY is not Compact).
• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
