Our multidisciplinary team currently includes Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, and Cardiology, creating an ideal environment for collaboration and comprehensive patient care.

Vista's current facility includes:

  • Dedicated specialty exam and treatment rooms
  • Fully equipped ICU
  • GE Revolution Evo 128-slice CT
  • High-flow oxygen
  • Ultrasonography
  • Digital radiography
  • Full in-house laboratory

Vista is also positioned for continued growth, with an 18,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital planned to expand the hospital's capabilities and services.

In your day-to-day, you will

  • Provide advanced ophthalmic care to a diverse referral caseload
  • Diagnose and develop comprehensive treatment plans for ophthalmic conditions
  • Collaborate with Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Cardiology, and other services
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities, including CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, and in-house laboratory services
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
  • Develop strong relationships with referring veterinarians and serve as a trusted ophthalmology resource for the community
  • Work closely with experienced veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Contribute to the growth and development of ophthalmology services at Vista
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities through Vista and the broader Ethos network
  • Help foster a collaborative, positive, and team-focused hospital culture

What You Bring

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
  • Board certification in Veterinary Ophthalmology or completion of an ophthalmology residency with eligibility for board certification
  • Eligibility for veterinary licensure in California
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for multidisciplinary medicine
  • Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient and client care
