About the Position

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Day, Evening Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: 2 years RN experience Description: ER RN position available. 36-hour guarantee with 3 shifts of 12 hours each. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC. The unit has 30 private ER rooms, including a six-room observation unit. There are 6 fast track beds for minor non-urgent issues. The unit features 1 seclusion room and 5 monitored rooms. It is a Level IV Trauma Center with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4. An average of 100 patients is seen per day. Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours. Common patient types include trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases. The electronic medical record system in use is Allscripts. The medication system utilized is Omnicell. Scrub color should be anything except all black. Scrubs are not provided.
