Job Description

At United Supermarkets, a Courtesy Clerk is a front-line retail employee who plays a key role in making the shopping experience positive and efficient for customers. This position is often the first point of contact for shoppers and is central to the store's customer service mission LinkedIn+1.

Core Responsibilities

Customer service & interaction: Greet customers as they enter and leave the store, assist with locating products, and answer questions about items, promotions, or store policies interviewguy.com.

Checkout support: Help with bagging groceries, scanning items at checkout, and carrying purchases to customers' vehicles

Store maintenance: Restock shelves, arrange produce, prepare flowers, and keep the store clean and organized

Operational support: Return shopping carts to designated areas, collect carts from customers, and help maintain a tidy store environment
