A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, Analytical Chemistry Development Scientist in Vernon Hills, IL!

A-Line Staffing is seeking an experienced Scientist 1 – Analytical Chemistry to support the Infection Prevention, Analytical Chemistry team. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting analytical chemistry activities for both marketed products and new product development.

The Scientist 1 will provide analytical chemistry support for chemistry-related projects involving existing products as well as new product development .

This position will perform laboratory testing, support stability programs, review and document analytical data, and assist with the development and validation of analytical methods in an FDA-regulated/GMP environment .

Analytical Chemistry Development Scientist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $35.00/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Analytical Chemistry Development Scientist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Analytical Chemistry Development Scientist Responsibilities

· Perform analytical chemistry and product performance testing.

· Conduct hands-on wet chemistry and instrumental testing , including pH, titration, UV-Vis, GC, and HPLC.

· Support stability testing programs associated with product and process design changes.

· Assist with the development and validation of analytical methodologies.

· Support testing of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

· Review, analyze, document, and enter laboratory data.

· Write and execute scientific protocols and prepare technical reports.

· Maintain accurate laboratory records in accordance with GMP and FDA requirements .

· Troubleshoot laboratory and analytical issues and assist in identifying appropriate solutions.

· Perform routine laboratory maintenance and general laboratory support.

· Communicate scientific strategies, results, and findings to cross-functional teams.

· Collaborate with Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, and other functional groups .

· Manage multiple laboratory activities and project priorities simultaneously.

Analytical Chemistry Development Scientist Requirements

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, or a related scientific discipline.

· 2–4 years of pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience required.

· Hands-on experience with analytical and wet chemistry techniques, including:

• • HPLC
  • GC
  • UV-Vis
  • pH testing
  • Titration

· Experience working within an FDA-regulated environment.

· Knowledge of GMP documentation requirements and laboratory practices.

· Previous experience writing scientific protocols and technical reports.

· Strong understanding of scientific methods, laboratory techniques, and analytical chemistry principles.

· Excellent scientific and technical writing skills.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagram-based, and schedule-based instructions.

· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and laboratory activities.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss scientific strategies and results with cross-functional partners.
