Pharmacy Technician

Part Time / Hybrid in Sacramento CA

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: PHARMC-Certified Pharmacy Technician

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 2 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of data fields required by National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP). Ability at running ad hoc reports from pharmacy claims data with strong PC skills including PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Excel and Word. Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Health Care Reform, Business Code of Ethics and government regulated programs. Ability to work collaboratively, prioritize functions, problem solve, and anticipate upcoming issues for the executives.

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program.
