Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description Job Summary: Provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through advanced clinical skills and compassionate support. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor critically illpatients to identify changes in condition promptly. Administer medications, treatments, and life-support interventions as prescribed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans. Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately within medical records. Educate patients and families on care procedures and post-discharge instructions. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications: Valid ICU or Registered Nurse license in the state or compact licensing area. Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills essential. Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and handle high-acuity patient care.
