The opportunities are endless.Job OverviewThe Sales & Client Care Representative is responsible for managing client relationships from initial sale through ongoing services and is the main point of contact for clients in Landscape Services. This role involves acquiring new clients, increasing department revenue, and providing exemplary customer service.Responsibilities and DutiesGenerate bid estimates and sales on maintenance, irrigation service, enhancement, and mowing projectsMaintain sales volume by staying current on client needs, trends, and any local competitorsAchieve weekly/monthly/annual sales goals for departmentCommunicate details of estimates and scopes of work to appropriate Production Manager(s)Conduct client presentations, meetings, and on-site visits/walkthroughs to discuss scope of work and achieve saleInform clients of property issues and involve them in necessary decision makingManage effective and reliable communication with clients as single point of contact for service matrixPrepare proposals, renewals, and contracts that meet the gross profit margin goal for each product or service offered, which includes labor hours and materials to complete each jobCreate and maintain detailed scopes of work for each site and task to be completedParticipate in routine sales training and development, staying abreast of industry trendsMonitor and assist in invoicing process and assuring payment from clientsAssist Production Manager(s) for job costing Garden Care sitesParticipate in regularly scheduled meetings with Production Manager and admin team to ensure communication of department(s)Other duties as assignedJob RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Horticulture or related field, preferred3+ years of sales experience in landscape industryKnowledge and proficiency in landscape terminology, plant material, and installation techniquesStrong ability to multi-task and exercise efficiencies in time managementSuperior interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues, doing so with excellent written and verbal communication practicesIntermediate to advanced skills with MS Word & OutlookOccasional evening and weekend availability to meet client needs and deadlinesValid drivers license; CDL with Class C endorsement, preferredThe Perks401(k) plan with company matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFSA/HSAPerkSpotLong-Term Disability and Life InsurancePaid time OffTuition Reimbursement (after one year of service)Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
