Job Opportunity – General Surgery – West Virginia

Start Date: July 1, 2026
Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8 days per month, 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Highlights:

Flexible scheduling with 1 to 8-day stretches per month
Low patient volume – typically 0 to 10 calls per day
6-month contract with potential for extension
70-bed community hospital utilizing Cerner EMR
Full travel reimbursement provided
EGD and colonoscopy experience preferred but not required

Requirements:

Board Certification in General Surgery
Active state medical license (IMLC or WV temporary license preferred)
Current DEA registration
BLS and ACLS certifications
Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
