Field Technical Representative

Elevate is committed to providing the highest quality commercial roofing, wall and lining systems and seeks a Field Technical Representative to support our Warranty/Technical Services team in the Amrize Building Envelope division. About the Role The FTR is field‑based, working from the company truck and a home office, reporting to the Regional Technical Manager. The role involves training licensed contractors, performing warranty inspections, investigating claims, and providing on‑site technical assistance. What You'll Accomplish Educate customers, sales representatives, and teammates on proper application of Elevate, GenFlex, and Gaco products. Review installation deviations, make acceptance determinations within authority, and analyze warranty or construction requirements. Provide feedback on literature and specifications to ensure accurate customer information. Develop strong customer relationships, inspire confidence, and manage expectations during investigations. Investigate roofing installation and product quality issues to determine root causes and resolutions. Prioritize work, maintain current business initiatives, and identify improvement opportunities. Adhere to corporate, division, safety policies, and government regulations, promoting a culture of safety. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Architecture, or a minimum high school diploma with 10 years of commercial roofing experience as a foreman, superintendent, or technical representative. Minimum 8 years of active duty in a construction‑trade MOS (verified by DD‑214). Strong technical expertise in single‑ply, asphalt, metal, roofing coatings, urethane, and garden roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC, SBS, APP, BUR, standing seam, cavity wall, silicone, acrylic, P.U.F., wall foam, Built‑in‑Place, Modular). Excellent communication, customer service, organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to lead travel up to 30% of the time by air or car and work flexible hours. Current driver’s license and claims‑adjusting experience (preferred). Commitment to safety protocols, including respirator use and fit testing.
