Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Full-Time

McLeod Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide treatment services that help patients regain mobility, function, and independence following illness or injury.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• 80 Hours Biweekly

What You'll Do:

• Implement treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of diagnoses and functional limitations
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Rehab Aides, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

About Our Rehabilitation Team:

Physical Therapy serves both inpatient and outpatient populations across a variety of specialty areas. Our collaborative team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Rehab Aides provides comprehensive rehabilitation services, including general, pediatric, and aquatic therapy.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or related Health Science field
• Current South Carolina PTA license required
• BLS Certification required (American Heart Association)

Experience:

• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Zero to less than one year of related experience preferred
