Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionPlease include:Primary assignment will be supporting Kafka and Websphere environments hosting internally developed applications. Environments supported include Web Servers and Tomcat based environments• Respond to environment problems and implement resolution efforts across technology areas.. • Functions as a System Engineer specializing in Web Services in the SDLC in Kafka, Web Sphere, Tomcat / TCSserver, Apache, Web Server, an dWeb Logic• Demonstrate expert knowledge and skills implementing and troubleshooting clustering, JMS, JDBC• Conduct performance tuning of JAVA / JEE / JSE applications and platformsRequirements- 3+ years working with Kafka • Strong Linux and shell scripting experience (must be very strong)• 5 – 7 + years of IBM WebSphere / Weblogic / Tomcat / TC Server administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployments; primary focus should be in EMS / Messaging.• Experience with Apache based web servers, with advanced configuration, troubleshooting• JAVA / JEE / JSE applications and platforms experience• Broad coverage of TCServer (Tomcat) and Apache on Linux• Strong understanding and background managing and supporting middleware components serving / hosting Java applications in a Linux environment• Strong system integrations experienceo Troubleshooting (primarily non production)o Good security practices• Strong Apache Kafka skills coupled with very good Java Experience (Tomcat / TC Server).• Good communication, independent thinker / problem solver, able to work on own in an aggressive environmentPlus• Experience developing Java tools and utilities is a plus• Knowledge of the airline business is a plus• Working knowledge of Oracle RACApache messaging resource with Kafka experienceThis role requires no management of other resources, but instead the resource must have good time management skills. They will be expected to perform tasks on their ownThey will be working with the client on a daily basis.
