Job Details Job Location: Pathways Transitions House KCMO - KANSAS CITY, MO 64111 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $17.00 - $21.00 Hourly Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $21.00 Schedules Available: Missouri Full-time Shift: Monday – Friday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Full-time Shift: Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm Part-time Shift: Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am Kansas Full-time Shift: Monday – Thursday: 10:00 pm – 8:00 am What You Will Do Responsible for direct supervision and safety of all clients. Responsible for proper behavior management of children through the use of behavior management techniques. Build healthy relationships with clients and be a role model of healthy behaviors. Have a working knowledge of the child's treatment plan and objectives and structure activities to support that plan. Creatively structure activities for groups and conduct psycho-educational groups. May be responsible for medication administration and other medical support. Teach, guide, and assist the client in daily life skills appropriate for age. Provide 24‑hour awake supervision. Manage clients courteously while on agency property. Transport youth to events, meetings, appointments, and activities as required. Attend court hearings, family support team and school meetings. Interview and make recommendations in the hiring process. Assign job duties, train staff, and ensure adequate coverage. Other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring At least 2 years of experience working with children. High school diploma (required). Bachelor's degree in social services, child development, or criminal justice (preferred). At least 21 years old and pass background check, physical, and drug screening. A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
