Job Summary
Gastroenterology Laboratory position in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role involves assisting nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures, including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations. The technician will be responsible for disinfecting and processing endoscopic equipment, troubleshooting, setting up rooms, transporting patients, stocking supplies, and assisting patients with dressing, ambulation, and monitoring devices.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift with four 10-hour shifts per week, including rotating call.
• Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; BLS certification through the American Heart Association; registered with DORA as a Colorado Surgical Technologist; must have a current certification card prior to assignment; minimum of 2 years of Endoscopy (Endo) experience; advanced case Endo experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Membership in the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program; current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification.
• Additional Information: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. Out-of-state agencies must register in the Colorado CAP system and provide correct SS# and DOB in Medefis to avoid onboarding delays.
