Family Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Valeo Resources has partnered with a community mental health organization who is experiencing a rapid growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the team in Gloucester, MA! In this role, you will be working with all ages in the community suffering from mental health disorders, substance abuse, trauma, and other instances.

Position: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location: Gloucester, MA

Schedule: M-F, 8:30-5:30pm, 1 evening shift 10:30-7:30pm. The center is open on Saturdays from 9am-1pm but it is only a slim possibility that you would have to do 1 a month. This depends on case loads and needs during that time.

The Job: Under the general direction of the Chief Clinical Officer and the direct supervision of the Medical Director, the advanced practitioner Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages and genders within the context of Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) policies and procedures. The clinician will exercise individual initiative and independent action to ensure high-quality and comprehensive primary care. The two central tenets of PCMH lie in team-based care and care coordination. The advanced practitioner is expected to be an integral part of the Primary Care Team (PCT), leader, and engaged team member.

Requirements:

• Current NP/PA Massachusetts License
• Certification in respective specialty (Family only)
• DEA license required
• Two years working as a licensed NP/PA in an ambulatory care setting; experience in a Community Health Center preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• COVID-19 Vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted
