Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Credentials: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP).

Special Requests: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: Responsible for patient assessments, care plans, plan implementation and evaluation, and revision of therapy plans as needed. Performs diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry. Transports patients within the hospital or between facilities.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. May require flexible hours before and after standard scheduled shifts, overtime, or more than 40 hours in a work week. On-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy.
