Job Full Description

Job Summary:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all facilities, infrastructure and production equipment used by the organization.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking "Safety First".
For all on-site positions, must show up to work to perform job duties.
Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned manufacturing equipment, infrastructure and facilities.
Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
Good communication skills.
Get along with others, not creating a hostile work environment.

Ability to work with and as a Team.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds and 41+ pounds as a two-person lift.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversees applicable general maintenance workers, interns, and/or apprentices.
Oversees outside contractors.

Travel:

25% travel to other US or International locations

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, related software and computers.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, and personnel from various departments.
Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred and/or combination of work experience.
Experience managing the company's type of facilities, equipment, and events preferred.
- Experience with CNC machinery is preferred
