Job Responsibilities

  • Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique requirements and devise personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them attain their individual functional goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday living activities.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with a network of professionals, including fellow OTs, PTs, STs, and medical staff, to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate Patients and Support Systems: Guide patients and their families through therapy techniques to enable continuous progress beyond clinical settings.
  • Maintain Clinical Records: Monitor and document patient advancements, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress.

Requirements

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

  • Possession of an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
