This Housekeeping opportunity is part time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible evening shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. Linen inbound and outbound receiving and collection. Trash pickup throughout facility, to include patient rooms. Biohazard collection and documentation. General housekeeping duties. Participates in performance improvement activities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
• Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.

Qualifications

One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
