Our unique business model, combined with our dedication to delivering the highest quality products, enables team members to contribute in a larger capacity than is possible in typical positionsPosition DescriptionThe Regional Colorectal Specialist (RCS) is responsible for providing minimally invasive surgical solutions to hospitals with an immediate focus on our GelSeal® technologies as it pertains to the colorectal space.In collaboration with Applied Medical’s Field Implementation team and the Advanced Procedural Specialist team, the RCS is responsible for developing and managing strategic sales plans that result in the long-term growth of these technologies. You will be responsible for performing the following activities:Work from a focused, quarterly sales plan to drive revenue and exceed sales quotasCall on high volume surgical centers to promote our Gel technologiesProvide clinical expertise and support for all products used in surgerySet meetings with key opinion leaders and key decision makers of large health systems to communicate and discuss Applied Medical’s minimally invasive programs in the market, specifically colorectalDrive the interest and the adoption of our Gel technologies through targeting leaders within the medical communityOperate as an ambassador of the Applied Medical brand in competitive environmentsCoordinate a cohesive plan through interaction with corporate accounts and Field implementation divisionsWork collectively with current/future APS regions to maximize colorectal support, focus and coverage Position RequirementsThis position requires the following skills and attributes:A minimum of 3-5 years of medical device sales experience with a proven track record of continued sales successStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and manage cross-functional teams and activitiesMust be able to travel routinely (up to 50% of the time) and manage expenses incurred while traveling (travel time may vary depending on individual territories)Proven goal-oriented, self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial driveDemonstrated performance record with clear documentation of successExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsBachelor’s degreeBenefitsThe base compensation for this role is $90,000-$110,000/ year for the position in the Northeast. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The base salary displayed reflects the target for new hire salaries in the Northeast based on the date of this job posting.
