Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby / Family Centered Care Assignment Details
Assignment Length: 16 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift Length: 12 hours
Candidate Type: Travel RN
Available Shifts Night Shift – Canton, GA
Shift: 12-hour nights
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Unit: Family Centered Care / Mother Baby
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby / Family Centered Care to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a busy maternity environment.
The ideal candidate will have recent Mother Baby experience and be comfortable working in a high-volume maternity setting. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills are essential.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby / specialty experience .
Current AHA BLS certification required.
Current NRP certification required.
Experience working in a 40-bed Mother Baby unit preferred; required for certain openings.
Experience working in a high-volume maternity setting preferred.
Experience in a maternity facility with approximately 4,000 deliveries annually is highly preferred for high-volume openings.
Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and family-centered care.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
